Step Four: Workshop Prep
The following are ways for you to best prepare for your upcoming retreat. The more ready your mind, body and emotions, the more healing.
The following are ways for you to best prepare for your upcoming retreat. The more ready your mind, body and emotions, the more healing.
- Birth data - for you and the birthdate of another. The most popular workshop at our retreats is the astrology workshop. Even those who aren't sure they believe astrology to be real always tell us afterwards how accurate or helpful the workshop is for them to understand themSELVES or the people we describe. In order to read for you in detail, we need your birth DAY, TIME and LOCATION, which is info you provide on the retreat questionnaire. If we have time - we can also consider the information of another person in your life - such a partner, child, parent, etc. - and how you relate with them based on your chart. We only need their birthdate; whereas, it is ideal that you have all of the birth data listed in the retreat survey, if possible.
- "Becoming YOU" Workshop Planning - What do you need to let go of or release that no longer serves you? What do you wish to bring in instead? What physical, emotional, spiritual, mental and environmental (people and places) aspects of your life do you want to see different than the present reality? What injury have been you facing? What diagnoses do you want to release? What relationship do you want to conclude or develop? What habits do you want to build? What does becoming YOU, mean?
- Chakra balancing weekend - stay hydrated so you can participate in muscle testing yourself, which is difficult to do if dehydrated.
Final Step: Stay Well
- Do your best to stay healthy and well for the retreat.
- Should you feel anything less than healthy or exhibit signs like fever, cough, sore throat, continual headache, etc., please stay home.
- Please check your temperature during the week before leaving for the retreat. 'Normal' temperature varies with people so testing it for a week prior will help you to gauge what is your 'normal'.
- Discuss with your primary care provider about being on Vitamin C, D3, Zinc, and a multi-vitamin at least two weeks before the retreat - if not starting sooner. These are safe for the majority and drastically improve your immune response.
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Flush out the system to stay well.
- Eat healthy prior to the retreat to support your immune system.
- Should you be choosing to get a COVID test prior to attending (though not required), the CDC website says: "people should get tested 3-5 days after their exposure." Any sooner than this, the results may not be accurate.
- If you choose to get any vaccine, make sure to be done with your last one at minimum, thirty days before we start to make sure you feel healthy.
